Events of the seventh edition of the El Gouna Film Festival concluded Friday evening, in an exceptional ceremony that was dominated by conflicting feelings after the departure of the stars Hassan Youssef and Mustafa Fahmy, and witnessed the absence of a number of stars who passed away before the closing ceremony for various reasons, and the appearance of married couples for the first time.

Despite the absence of a number of stars from the ceremony, who were a symbol of the El Gouna Festival every year, such as Yousra, Elham Shaheen, Rania Youssef, Bushra and Mahmoud Hemeida, the ceremony witnessed the presence of a large number of stars, such as Dalia Shawky, Dalia Mostafa, Ahmed Hatem, Ahmed Magdy, Weam Magdy and Hoda El Mufti, as well as the stars Nelly Karim, Menna Shalaby, Amina Khalil, Nisreen Tafesh and Tara Emad, and some stars were keen to take their other half in their first appearance on the red carpet at the closing of El Gouna, including Yasmine Raees, who appeared with her husband for the first time at an artistic event, Arwa Gouda and her fiancé, Amr Mansy and his wife, Rania Mahmoud Yassin and her husband Mohamed Riad, Ahmed Khaled Saleh and his wife Hanadi Muhanna, Mahmoud Shaheen and his wife, Mohamed Farag and Basant Shawky.

The stars appeared at the closing of the festival in looks dominated by long dresses, and bright colors stood out in their looks.

The festival witnessed the premiere of many films from around the world, in addition to many special events and seminars. The festival also witnessed the honoring of the artist Mahmoud Hemeida by granting him the Creative Achievement Award, in celebration of the roles he excelled in presenting in cinema and television, in addition to the role he plays away from the eyes of the cameras in developing Egyptian cinema, whether through production through the “Penguin for Artistic Production” company that he founded in the nineties, or through the “Seventh Art” magazine that he has been interested in publishing for several years.
