Cairo Film Festival Signs Cooperation Agreement with Sofitel El Gezirah

Cairo International Film Festival signed a cooperation agreement with Sofitel El Gezirah Hotel in Cairo to be the official partner to host all stars and guests of festival during its 45th session, to be held from November 13 to 22.

The agreement was signed by CIFF President, Actor Hussein Fahmy, and Mohamed Fawzy, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sofitel El Gezirah, with the attendance of hotel’s General Manager, Ahmed Shendweely. The partnership aims to offer exceptional hospitality services to both international and local film stars and filmmakers, ensuring a luxurious experience that befits significance of the prestigious event.

Signing of this agreement is part of the Cairo International Film Festival’s ongoing preparations to welcome a distinguished group of international and local cinematic figures. It reflects the festival’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with leading institutions in order to ensure the successful organization of a world-class event.

This collaboration marks the second time Sofitel El Gezirah will serve as the festival’s official hotel, following positive feedback from attendees of the previous edition. Hussein Fahmy expressed his gratitude to the hotel’s management, stating his pleasure in renewing the partnership and expressing hopes for continued cooperation in future editions.

Ahmed Shendweely, General Manager of Sofitel El Gezirah, also voiced his enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration with the CIFF, wishing the festival continued success for its 45th edition.
