The artist Asala achieved great public success in her first concerts during the year 2020, which she presented at a hotel in Greater Cairo, a few days ago, in the presence of a large number of her fans, for the benefit of a charity that supports breast cancer patients, and donated her full wages to these patients.
Asala told Al-Dustour after the ceremony ended that she did not hesitate for a moment when the officials of the party spoke to her and told her that it was in favor of supporting breast cancer patients.
She added, “The ceremony is primarily a human act, so the motivation was strong to present it without any hesitation, and it gave up on what was already done, but the most important thing is that these events and what it holds from a high level of humanity need a certain type of music and songs that are commensurate with the size The pain, and the fact that I was very happy with the audience interacting with me while singing. ”
Asala talked about the “video clip” of her new song “Shamekh”, which achieved a million views in the first 24 hours of its presentation on its YouTube channel, expressing her great happiness at his success, especially that she did not expect the public to love the song the way it appeared, For the first time, she appears so aggressively in acting.
And about the scenes of “Video Clips”, she said that she cried a lot during filming, because she loves to cry in the normal, even though her tears are dear to her, she cries and values the feelings very much.
Asala considered the song “Shamekh” as a prelude to her upcoming album, to be released in the coming months, and she is currently working on it and recorded a large part of his songs, and it will be completely in the Gulf dialect.
She responded to the accusations of stealing the idea of the song’s video clip from another “clip” for a foreign singer, that she does not find a problem or a crisis in that, especially since no one was harmed, on the contrary, the audience loved him very much.
She pointed out that the clip is the first cooperation with the director of the clip, Nihal Nabil, who was nominated by her brother, Anas Nasri, adding: “The clip was filmed in only one day, and the focus was on acting and performance in a big way, and participated in it with Nihal Nabil both of the performing director Islam Hisham, assistant director Nour Badr, director of photography Haitham Zemita and production director Ahmed Zaki.
On the current period that Asala lives and separated from her husband, director Tariq Al-Arian, she refused to comment on the matter, or mentioned her ex-wife in any way, confirming that she is living in a difficult period, during which she lost a lot of weight, saying: “I am weak … with a diet of Rabbani.”
During the ceremony, Asala presented a large number of her most important songs through her singing career, she started with the song “Aktar”, but she stopped after the second song and said to the audience: “I presented you with romantic songs in the beginning so that you will not say I am a peer, but the second part of the concert will be mine and I will present what I like. ”
Indeed, Asala presented sad songs, such as the song “One time, one love”, and she stopped in the middle of the song and asked the audience to sing with her, and she said to them: “You are unaware, why do they sing, laugh with me, laugh?”
